Radiation Safety (X-Ray)

32-hour Dental X-Ray Certification Course (X1035) Approved by the Dental Board of California

A California Dental Board–approved radiology course is important because it ensures you’re trained to the state’s standards for safe, legal dental x-ray procedures. You learn proper positioning, infection control, and radiation safety—skills that protect patients and reduce retakes—while earning documentation many California dental offices look for when hiring. For students, it’s a credibility signal and a practical advantage: you can step into clinical workflows faster and support the dentist immediately with compliant radiographic duties.

Infection Control (IC)

Dental Board-Approved 8-Hour Infection Control Course (IC-188) Approved by the Dental Board of California

A California Dental Board–approved Infection Control course is important because it trains you to meet California’s strict standards for preventing cross-contamination in the dental operatory. You learn the “why” and the exact protocols behind sterilization, operatory turnover, instrument processing, PPE, and exposure-response procedures—so you can protect patients and the clinical team while staying compliant. For employers, it’s proof you’re ready to work safely on day one, reduce risk, and uphold the infection-control systems that keep a dental practice running.
